Service Guarantee
At Rampart Pest Management, we stand behind our work. Every treatment we carry out is performed to the highest standard using premium products — because we’d rather do the job right once than come back to fix a shortcut.
Our General Pest Guarantee
All standard general pest control treatments include a 6-month free service period covering:
- Cockroaches (excludes German cockroaches — see below)
- Spiders
- Silverfish
If any of the above pests return within 6 months of your treatment, contact us and we’ll return to retreat the affected areas at no charge.
Scope of Guarantee
The Rampart Pest Management service guarantee covers re-treatment of the affected area only.
It does not cover, and Rampart Pest Management accepts no liability for, any consequential loss, property damage, or costs arising from pest activity during or after the guarantee period, including but not limited to:
- Damage to appliances, fixtures, or fittings
- Damage to foodstuffs, clothing, or furniture
- Damage to building materials or structures
- Any costs associated with replacing, repairing, or restoring any item affected by pest activity
The guarantee is a commitment to return and re-treat — it is not a warranty against all pest activity or any loss caused by pests.
Guarantee Conditions
To be eligible for the free service period, the following conditions must be met at the time of the original treatment:
Accessibility The property must allow reasonable access to all treatment areas, including skirting boards, wall junctions, cupboards (internal and external), wet areas (bathrooms, laundry, kitchen), and subfloor or roof void where applicable.
Cleanliness The property must be in a reasonable state of cleanliness prior to treatment. Excessive clutter, debris, or unsanitary conditions can significantly reduce treatment effectiveness.
Report Recommendations Any recommendations noted in the Rampart Pest Management service report must be actioned by the client within a reasonable timeframe. Where recommendations remain unaddressed, Rampart Pest Management reserves the right to void or reduce the free service period.
Rampart Pest Management reserves the right to reduce the free service period, or not apply one at all, where any of the above conditions were not met at the time of the original treatment. Where this applies, we will advise you before or during the service.
German Cockroach Exclusion
German cockroaches are excluded from our standard guarantee. German cockroach infestations require a specialised treatment program and are quoted and managed separately. If you suspect a German cockroach infestation, please contact us for an assessment.
Premium Ant Guarantee
Treatments including the Premium Ant Add-On carry a 60-day guarantee. If ant activity returns within 60 days, we’ll return to retreat at no charge, subject to the same accessibility and cleanliness conditions above.
Flea Guarantee
Our 2-Visit Flea Treatment Program carries a 30-day guarantee from the date of the second visit. The guarantee applies only to the 2-visit program — single visit flea treatments are not covered.
For the guarantee to be valid:
- All pets must have been treated with a veterinarian-recommended flea product prior to or on the day of treatment
- The property must have been vacuumed thoroughly prior to each visit
- Pets must remain off treated surfaces until dry
Rodent Control
Rodent control treatments do not carry a pest-free guarantee. Rodent activity is influenced by external factors including neighbouring properties, vegetation, and building structure — all of which are beyond our control once baiting programs are completed. We use only APVMA-approved products and follow all current regulatory requirements.
Termite Treatments
Termite chemical barrier treatments and in-ground baiting systems are carried out using industry-leading products selected for each specific situation.
Manufacturer’s Warranty Where eligible, termite treatments may be backed by the product manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty eligibility is assessed on a job-by-job basis and will be confirmed at the time of quoting. Not all properties or treatment types will qualify. Where a manufacturer’s warranty is available, full details including coverage and conditions will be provided in your quote.
In some cases, a manufacturer’s warranty may be unavailable — for example, on properties with a high risk of termite entry due to construction type, site conditions, or pre-existing activity. This will be communicated clearly in your quote.
Free Service Period Where a manufacturer’s warranty is not available, Rampart Pest Management will offer a 12-month free service period as an alternative, covering the retreatment of any active termite activity detected within the treated zone.
The free service period is renewed for a further 12 months upon completion of each annual termite inspection carried out by Rampart Pest Management, provided the inspection confirms the treatment zone is intact and any report recommendations have been actioned.
This free service period:
- Covers active termite retreatment only — it is not a structural or timber damage warranty
- Does not cover new termite entry points outside the original treatment zone
- Is offered on a case-by-case basis and will be explicitly stated in your quote — if it is not noted in your quote, it does not apply
- Is subject to the same accessibility and report recommendation conditions outlined above
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rampart Pest Management’s total liability to the client for any claim arising from services provided is limited to the cost of re-performing the relevant service.
Rampart Pest Management is not liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or special loss or damage of any kind, including but not limited to loss of income, loss of use, or damage to property caused by pest activity before, during, or after a treatment.
Nothing in these terms excludes any guarantee, warranty, or right that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
What’s Not Covered
The following are not covered under any Rampart Pest Management guarantee:
- Re-infestation caused by conditions not present at the time of the original treatment (e.g. new entry points, structural changes, or introduction of infested goods)
- Properties where access or cleanliness conditions were not met
- Properties where report recommendations were not actioned
- German cockroach infestations under a standard general pest treatment
- Single-visit flea treatments
- Rodent control programs
- Pests not included in the original treatment scope
- Any consequential loss, property damage, or costs arising from pest activity
